Nuclear War is Coming..................

05.17.06 (12:12 pm)   [edit]

Former Military Intelligence chief Aharon Ze'evi warned Monday morning of an impending world jihad "tsunami" that he said may soon descend on the entire Middle East.

Ze'evi, speaking at a Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies conference in Tel Aviv University, said that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinijad has been overheard promising the "end of history in two or three years."

Ze'evi recommended that the Iranian threats be taken seriously, saying that Tehran will soon have nuclear warhead compatible surface-to-surface missiles with a range of 5,000 kilometers, putting Europe within striking distance.

Ze'evi also warned that Israel should not rule out the possibility of a conventional war against Islamic militants.

Ze'evi said he foresees this war breaking out on Israel's northern frontier, against Syria and Hezbollah.

Emphasizing the radicalization of Islamic militancy, Ze'evi cited recent changes in the objectives of major militant organizations, which have recently begun targeting sites in Arab countries.

"We are seeing attacks carried out in Amman, Dahab and Sharm el-Sheikh," said Ze'evi.

He cited the increased accessibility of Internet in the Arab world as facilitating the process, saying, "Today, anyone who is interested can learn how to blow up a bomb."

Major General (Res.) Ze'evi stepped down as chief of Military Intelligence about four months ago, and was replaced by Major General Amos Yadlin.

Are we ready for this?

Is coming national ID 'mark of the beast'?

05.05.06 (4:05 pm)   [edit]
[IMG]http://i10.photobucket.com/al...[/IMG] Is the national ID card the next step toward the imposition of the biblical "mark of the beast" Christians believe will be required to buy and sell during the Last Days? That's the contention of a growing group of believers who are working to turn back the approval of the Real ID Act by Congress last year. Public Law 109-13 requires the national ID portion of the plan go into effect by May 2008. "There is a prophecy in the Bible that foretells a time when every person will be required to have a mark or a number, without which he or she will not be able to participate in the economy," states the Christian website NoNationalID.com. "The prophecy is 2,000 years old, but it has been impossible for it to come to pass until now. With the invention of the computer and the Internet, this prophecy of buying and selling, using a number, can now be implemented at any time. Has the time for the fulfillment of this prophecy arrived?" The site asks visitors to sign an online petition vowing not to vote for any candidate"This is probably our last chance to head off the mechanism before it is actually implemented as the mark," states the site in the FAQ section. "It truly may be now or never." The Real ID Act requires states to participate in a federal data-sharing program when issuing driver's licenses, making those licenses de facto national ID cards. Touted as a tool of the war on terrorism, the ID card provision of the law, which also includes border-security measures, has attracted the most negative attention. After May 11, 2008, "a federal agency may not accept, for any official purpose, a driver's license or identification card issued by a State to any person unless the State is meeting the requirements" specified in the Real ID Act. While states can issue non-federal ID cards, they would not be accepted by the Transportation Security Administration for travel purposes, grounding those who don't carry federally approved cards. The data required to be included in each card are, among other things, the person's full legal name, date of birth, gender, driver's license number, a digital photo, the person's address and machine-readable technology so the information can be ready easily by government or banking personnel. Each state must agree to share the data on the cards with every other state. Supporters of the law say it does not require a "national" ID card because each state issues its own cards, not the federal government. But detractors note the cards are virtual national IDs since the federal law has dictated what data must be included and that each state must share its database with the others. The New Hampshire Senate yesterday voted to reject a bill to rebel against the Real ID system and not participate in a pilot program for which the state had been tapped. The state House of Representatives passed the measure last month, but the Senate instead voted to study the driver's license requirements. U.S. Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H., is urging his home state to give Real ID a try, saying it's needed to keep terrorists and illegal aliens from entering the country. According to the Manchester Union Leader, Gregg argues that New Hampshire residents will find it difficult to get on airplanes or enter federal buildings if New Hampshire doesn't embrace Real ID. Groups opposed to the Real ID Act are making strange bedfellows, with Christians like those running NoNationalID.com fighting on the same side with the American Civil Liberties Union, which sponsors the website RealNightmare.org. The ACLU site decries the fact that a motor vehicles department staff person will be required to ask for immigration-status papers from those applying for driver's licenses. "REAL ID will inevitably cause discrimination against U.S. citizens who may 'look' or 'sound' foreign to a DMV bureaucrat," states the site. "REAL ID requires DMV employees to decide whether someone is a citizen or foreigner before issuing a driver's license. The law demands that DMV bureaucrats distinguish among citizens, permanent resident immigrants and other non-citizens in deciding who is eligible for a license and what type of license may be issued. "Based on past experience when similar requirements were imposed on employers, widespread discrimination resulted against citizens who 'looked' or 'sounded' foreign." The civil-liberties group also slams a requirement of the law that some immigrants be issued a temporary "tier-two" license that has a prominent expiration date. U.S. governors also have come out against the law, saying it is a huge unfunded mandate imposed on the nation's states. The National Conference of State Legislatures is equally opposed to the Real ID Act, saying, "Federal legislators and rule makers are negating state driver's license security efforts, imposing difficult-to-comply-with mandates and limiting their flexibility to address new concerns as they arise. In other words, decades of state experience is being substituted for a 'command and control regime' from a level of government that has no driver's license regulatory experience." Endtime Ministries' Irvin Baxter, a radio host, believes the national ID is a precursor to the forced embedding of radio-frequency chips under the skin. Baxter told the Concord, N.H., Monitor: "That's where we are headed right now. The prophecy states that you will have to receive a mark on your hand or in your forehead."

WAKE UP.......

05.05.06 (10:55 am)   [edit]

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was invited to speak at the United Nations in October 2005. At the conclusion of his discourse, he called upon Allah to quickly usher in the re-emergence of the "Twelfth" or "Hidden Imam," sometimes referred to as the "Mahdi."

The fanatical leader later claimed that while he spoke to that august body, he was surrounded by a halo of light. Mr. Ahmadinejad regaled a local ayatollah with the story of how "The leaders of the world" stared at him during the time he spoke. He further claimed that they were unable to blink or turn away, as though some unseen force held them in a trance-like state. "When I say they didn't bat an eyelid, I'm not exaggerating, because I was looking at them," intoned Ahmadinejad.

Ahmadinejad is a Shia Muslim. Many of them believe that the Twelfth Imam, or Mahdi, the last in a line of saints descended from Ali, the founder of their sect, vanished down a well near Jamkaran, Iran, in A.D. 941. According to their beliefs, he went into a state of "occultation," like the sun being hidden behind the clouds; and, after a stormy period of apocalyptic wars, the clouds will part, and the "sun" (the Mahdi) will be revealed. They believe that when he is released from his imprisonment, the entire world will submit to Islam.

The world may smirk as they hear the president of Iran talking of the return of the Mahdi and think it is just a bunch of religious foolishness. But, he is dead serious. Not only does he believe it, but the tens of thousands of mullahs controlling ancient Persia believe it also. It is their mission from God.

But just who is this "Mahdi," this Hidden Imam? Some thought it was the Ayatollah Khomeini. In fact, when he returned to Iran in February 1979 following the overthrow of the Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlevi, the roads leading into Tehran were lined with nearly 2 million Shia Muslims screaming "al-Muntazar." The grand ayatollah was quick to deny that he was "al-Muntazar," one of the names given to the Hidden Imam. In other words, many thought Khomeini was the awakened Mahdi. Khomeini did, however, explain to his followers that he was the forerunner, the one who had come to open the way for the Hidden Imam to make his reappearance.

The Hidden Imam, upon his unveiling, will, according Iran's constitution, assume leadership in the Islamic republic. All will acquiesce to his authority in what is essentially an end-time paradigm based on what some call the Muslim messiah. Ahmadinejad's belief in this Hidden Imam is so compelling that he may well be persuaded to go to any lengths, including a nuclear attack on Israel and/or the United States, to precipitate an apocalyptic event, a means to an end.

Initially, Ahmadinejad's threats seemed but the idle ranting of a megalomaniac. But now, armed with the capability to produce nuclear weapons, Iran will be a menace with which to be reckoned. The spirit of the Grand Ayatollah Khomeini lives on in Iran. This is the same Khomeini who said in 1981, "I say let Iran go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world."

The ummah or Muslims worldwide are comprised of Sunni and Shia Muslims. The two different sects evolved following the death of Muhammad. The Sunnis readily accepted his successor, while the Shia Muslims demanded their leader be a direct descendant of Muhammad. This personage is known to the Shia as "Ali." Hence the designation, "The Party of Ali."

Through the ages, additional subdivisions in the Shia sect have pitted one group against another, all led by recognized descendants of Muhammad. Their individual designations are derived from the number of the imam which they follow. Thus, Iran is comprised mainly of followers of the "Twelfth," or the Hidden Imam. He succeeded Al-Hassan al-Askari who died in A.D. 874.

Shiite Muslims believe that the Twelfth Imam disappeared down a well near Jamkaran in A.D. 941, and will emerge from this location at his Second Coming. But first, they believe, the world will go through great calamities and upheavals. This "apocalypse" will set the conditions for the Mahdi's return.

The Hidden Imam is known by several monikers, which translate to "expected one," the "hidden one" and, of course, Mahdi (promised one). His mystique is enhanced by the legend that the young successor in the lineage of Muhammad was secreted because he was unaccepted by the majority of Muslims. He will apparently be kept in seclusion until the day he emerges to reunite Muslims, conquer the world and establish an Islamic caliphate.

Ahmadinejad has taken up the banner of the Hidden Imam. His hate-filled rhetoric aimed at the Jews and America is stirring fanatical Muslims the world over. On April 20, a group calling itself the Islamic Thinkers Society rallied near the Israeli Embassy in Queens, N.Y. Carrying placards and banners picturing an Islamic flag flying over the White House, they shouted such vile pronouncements as:

Zionists, Zionists You will pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!
Israeli Zionists You shall pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!
The mushroom cloud is on its way! The real Holocaust is on its way!

We will not accept the United Nations, they are the criminals themselves
They get paid by the Israeli and the U.S. government to do their job.
We don't recognize United Nations as a body; We only recognize Allah.
Israel won't last long ... Indeed, Allah will repeat the Holocaust right on the soil of Israel

Islam will dominate the world
Islam is the only solution.
Another mushroom cloud, right in the midst of Israel!

As days pass, Ahmadinejad becomes more defiant. It is as if he is daring the nations of the world to try to stop him. How far will he go? Will he, indeed, launch a murderous attack against Israel or the United States in a misguided attempt to see his dream of the return of the Hidden Imam come to fruition? It becomes more obvious that he is willing to stop at nothing to reach his goal.

We have been warned.

04.26.06 (9:31 am)   [edit]

The latest tape from Osama bin Laden, aired by al-Jazeera Sunday, is a call upon all Muslims to take part in a new jihad against the United States, Israel and Europe that will include the killing of more civilians.

The al-Qaida leader said the American people, including women and children, have become fair targets because they continue to support the decisions of the Bush administration.

"The war is a responsibility between the people and the governments," bin Laden said. "The war goes on and the [American] people are renewing their allegiance to its rulers and masters. They send their sons to armies to fight us and they continue their financial and moral support while our countries are burned, our houses are bombed and our people are killed." In an exclusive interview with G2 Bulletin, Hamid Mir, the only journalist to interview bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri in the wake of 9-11, said the issuance of the tape was necessitated by Europe's rejection of al-Qaida's offer of a truce two years ago, and the subsequent rejection of a similar truce that was offered to the United States.

Mir had predicted bin Laden's imminent release of a message on al-Jazeera in a report published  just days before.

"There was only one positive response from America," according to Mir. "Douglas A. Borer wrote an article in The Christian Science Monitor on January 24, 2006, [in which] he argued that the British had made peace with the IRA and the U.S. had come to terms with Libya's terror-sponsoring leader [Moammar] Gadhafi. Then why not al-Qaida? The American government said that talking to terrorists is not their policy."

Mir contends this rejection has served to give rise to increased support for bin Laden throughout the Muslim world and widespread belief that the only recourse against alleged Western aggression is total war, including attacks on civilian populations.

Asked about the current opinion of bin Laden in the Muslim world, Mir said: "Osama bin Laden has become more popular only after 9-11. Incidents like the mistreatment of Iraqi prisoners in Abu Ghraib jail, the desecration of the holy Quran in Guantanamo Bay prisons, and then the publication of the blasphemous caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad in Denmark spread a lot of hatred against the West in the Muslim world. This hatred is the real strength of Osama bin Laden."

Strong delusions of 2005

04.21.06 (9:40 pm)   [edit]
Since deception and delusion are strong forces in the last days, I have come up with a list of the strong delusions of 2005. I am not trying to be cynical. They are real, and in some cases very dangerous.
* All the ills of the world are the fault of Christians, Jews, America, and President Bush. Reality check: Man's sinful nature is the root of all evil.
* We should rely on government agencies in times of tragedies. Reality check: The untold story of Katrina and other disasters is that God's people rallied while agencies remained stuck in bureaucracy.
* The media is very much on top of the war on terror. Reality check: They won't even use the word "terrorist"; rather "freedom fighters," "insurgents," "rebels," and more, sanitizing some of the world's worst monsters.
* Supreme Court nominee Sam Alito is an extremist but Ruth Bader Ginsberg is a moderate.
* Saudi Arabia is a Middle East moderate and ally of the U.S. Reality Check: More than 80% of U.S. mosques are stacked with Saudi Wahhabi propaganda promoting the Islamic States of America.
* Fences don't make good neighbors so Israel cannot have a security fence which has cut down on homicide bombers. Reality check: Many nations have such a fence and one along the U.S. southern border is under discussion.
* The withdrawal of the Jews from Gaza was the first major step towards peace and security in that region. Reality check: Gaza is now a terror state, steeped in anarchy, even taking Western hostages.
* Islam said Hurricane Katrina was the wrath of Allah against America. Reality check: When the Pakistani earthquake hit (and other disasters in the Islamic world), Allah seems to not notice and be on vacation.
* The "religious Left" and their social gospel is valuable. Reality check: They are so out of touch with reality they make continued visits to Hizbollah and Hamas.
* The church will save the world and make it perfect for Christ's return (Dominion/Kingdom Now Theology). Reality check: Many churches are not even preaching a sound gospel. They are preaching a bloodless gospel to fill up the pews and false doctrine is exploding as predicted.
* We're in the "last days" and churches are encouraging their flock to get right with God while there is still time. Reality check: Visit most any church in America and you will not hear the wonderful news that Jesus is coming soon.
* When President Bush does exactly what President Clinton did, Bush is pounded and there is collective amnesia about Clinton.
* There were no WMD in Iraq. Reality check: There is film footage of them being moved to Syria in 2003.
* The mainstream media remains the media source of choice. Reality check: People are fed up with them and have turned in large numbers to the alternative media.....blogs, Internet, talk radio, etc.
* It's a new day for the Palestinians with Arafat gone. Reality check: The only difference between Arafat and Abbas is that Abbas wears $2,000 suits.
* Russia can be trusted because she, too, is in the war on terror. Reality check: Russia is cooperating with Iran and Iran's nuclear program and will be a part of the Gog-Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39.
* The public schools have no agenda. Reality check: Christ and Christmas are out but your kid will learn about Islam and be assigned an Islamic name.
* The American media has demonized American troops in Iraq as the war is a failure and the American people have no confidence in the war or our troops. Reality check: 74% of Americans have confidence in our military according to a Gallup Poll.
If I haven't said it before, may the "light of the world" brighten you path in the new year. He is still on the throne although the world seems on some days to be going mad. More coverage coming on Ariel Sharon next week. And maybe 2006 will be the year our Lord appears in the clouds to call us Home.

RFID...coming to you in many ways...

04.17.06 (12:20 pm)   [edit]

Wal-Mart's new CIO has reaffirmed the giant retailer's commitment to using radio-frequency identification technology, continuing the effort begun by his predecessor.

"I view RFID as a strategy that offers tremendous competitive advantage," Rollin Ford said Thursday. "There will be no slowing down."

Ford, the former executive vice president of logistics and supply chain, took over the top technology spot April 5. The move followed Linda Dillman's switch to executive vice president of risk management and benefits administration.

This sort of musical chairs is not unusual for Wal-Mart execs. Company founder Sam Walton believed his top officers would benefit from cross-training.

A Smiley Face for RFID ---In 2003, Dillman began Wal-Mart's transition to RFID by issuing a directive to the discount chain's 100 top suppliers to put the technology into products shipping to two of Wal-Mart's distribution centers. The decision was an effort to decrease lag time for replenishing store inventory.

Dillman is credited with reanimating the RFID industry, which had been largely dormant since the early '90s. Her efforts, along with RFID deployments at the Department of Defense and other retailers such as Albertsons, got the ball rolling and prompted hardware and software vendors to pursue new RFID technologies and set standards. Wal-Mart currently has 300 suppliers shipping products to 500 RFID-enabled Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores. It has five distribution centers able to accept RFID-tagged pallets and cases from suppliers.

Wal-Mart plans to increase its number of suppliers and double the number of stores and clubs that are RFID-enabled, to 1,000, by January 2007. If successful, the company will have added some 600 RFID-enabled suppliers, which will send tagged goods to its stores and distribution centers.

What's the Frequency, Wal-Mart? Ford said he had committed to phasing out first-generation RFID technology in favor of a switch on June 30 to the EPC Gen-2 standard put into operation this year. Gen-2 RFID tags support ultra-high frequency (UHF) tags and readers while Gen-1 tags support high frequency (HF). Ford pointed out that UHF was seen as an impediment because many thought UHF tags could not be read around water or metal, unlike the older HF tags.

"However, our team and our technology partners proved that the new UHF Gen-2 tags could, in fact, be read in water and on metal," he said. "That's nothing short of a breakthrough."

No Bigger Platform ---Ford's support of Gen-2 UHF could play a pivotal role in the debate surrounding the efficacy of UHF, given Wal-Mart's immense profile. According to Noha Tohamy, an analyst at the technology firm Forrester Research, the big advantage of using HF frequency is the dedication of the band across the globe. With UHF, she said, there is still no dedicated band, which could result in the need for country- or region-specific tags and readers. That makes the holy grail of end-to-end supply chain visibility less likely.

UHF also wreaks havoc with vendors' plans for selling standard tags and readers. Perhaps more important, it creates obstacles for smaller retailers and manufacturers that must work through a region-based strategy for adopting RFID. But having a Goliath in its corner bodes well for UHF, she said. "Wal-Mart's endorsement of UHF means more worldwide leverage to encourage governments to continue their work of finding and dedicating an UHF RFID band," Tohamy said.

The good thing about Ford's continued endorsement of UHF is that, as former executive VP of supply chain and logistics, he is the right person to take on the goal of end-to-end supply-chain visibility, she said.

Comments--- We will be lead to believe this RFID chip will enhance our livestyles. It will hold all of our medical records, our financial records, keep us from getting lost...but is it leading up to the Mark of the Beast that is spoken of in Revelation?

War on Easter

A media company that produced a best-selling documentary asserting that Jesus Christ never existed today launches its "War on Easter," encouraging volunteer atheists to plant copies of the film "The God Who Wasn't There" in churches across the United States.

Dubbing the effort "Operation Easter Sanity," Brian Flemming, a self-described "former Christian fundamentalist" and president of Beyond Belief Media, hopes to covertly place 666 copies of the documentary in churches by Easter Sunday, April 16. The number 666 is the biblical mark of "The Beast," which also is the name of another film by Flemming set for a 06-06-06 release.

"People go to churches to hide from the truth," Flemming said in a statement. "At no time is this more apparent than Easter, when Christians get together to convince each other that a man died, stayed dead three days, rose from the dead and then flew into the air above the clouds.

"Our nonviolent campaign sends the message that nowhere in the country is safe from the truth. Wherever Christian leaders are indoctrinating children with 2,000-year-old fairy tales, the truth may just find its way there." Continued the former Christian: "Our 'War on Easter' is of course completely without violence of any kind. Christians believe that beating a man to a pulp and nailing him to a cross somehow solves all the world's problems. Beyond Belief Media does not."

"The God Who Wasn't There" is currently No. 5 on Amazon.com's list of best-selling documentaries.

Fleming claims to have planted copies of the DVD at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic cathedral in Los Angeles Sunday morning.

"I put the DVDs in my right inside jacket pocket," he explained on the War on Easter website. "It was a gorgeous Palm Sunday. The kind of day that makes you want to ride on a donkey and get hit with palm fronds. …

"As soon as the Mass was over, I got to work hiding DVDs and flyers in hymnals and the like."

Fleming posted a photo of Cardinal Roger Mahony and himself allegedly taken after the Mass.

Responded "Eric" on the site: "Why do you feel the need to spread hate? Just because you are miserable doesn’t give you the right to lash out. Listen, you need some professional help. You remind me of Hitler and what he was trying to do. Are you proud of that?"

Another poster encouraged Flemming: "That is just awesome. Someday people will wake up, and I hope your crusade helps to do just that."
